Still hard at work!
We have two weeks to go, but we are still hard at work and learning about birds. Students are studying a bird of their
choice from a habitat they have chosen. They need to bring in information on that bird to create a poster with their partners
in class. The partners will then combine different parts of their birds to creata a new species! This will be a fun learning
activity and one of our last this year!

Field day
Permission slips for field day went home Friday 6/6. Please send in the permission slip and the chaperone volunteer portion
if you are available ASAP. Thanks!

Textbook return:
All students who recieved books from shcool and Freeport students should retrun their texts on the following
days:
Language Arts texts returned on Monday 6/9
Science texts and health binders returned Tuesday
Soc. Studies and reading on Wednesday
Math on Thursday
* students who do not return books will not be permitted to attend field day
FINAL - Review of exams and grades
Students will have the opportunity to review the answers to all pars
of the science final on 6/11 or 6/12. Students are not permitted to bring home the tests, but will see the corrections and
the correct answers to all questions. They received 3 seperate grades for the 3 seperate parts of the science test. On Friday
the 13th (!) the students will receive the overall grade for all exams.
